my issue is with my 10 month old male english bull dog.  about a week ago i started to notice a small patch of hair missing on his back right above his tail.  i checked him over and he looked like he had gotten in some ants outside.  over the past two weeks he has lost some hair on both sides and under his neck.  could you please give me an idea of what is going on and something that i can do for him.

There is a good dog shampoo for skin problems that has clorhexidine 4%.  You may have to get it from a vet.  There is also a product called Hibiclens that is carried by some pharmacies.  It is for people but also has clorhedine 4%.

If it gets worse or you can't find these products, you should take your bully to see a vet.
