I’m so glad I found this web site; I feel it’s a God send!!!  I have a 9 month old female bulldog named Sophie; she was born on January 17, 2010.  When we picked her up from the breeder for whatever reason the breeder had started her out on Purina Puppy Chow Healthy Life Nutrition Complete & Balance (would have not been my choice), however when we went to her first healthy puppy check-up (two days after we brought her home) she was declared very healthy.  Anyway about a month ago I decided it was time to switch her food to something healthy, after doing some research I chose to go with Canidae All Life Stage Formula.  Even though I switched her food over slowly she still had some throwing up and diarrhea, (this probably lasted a week and a half) of course during all this her little hind-end was chapped and raw.  Finally her stool started to return to somewhat normal (stool still soft) and I was able to get her hind-end cleared up; now she has somewhat of a rash (light red dots and patches) on her tummy.  In doing more research I found you and this information here:

Needless to say I want to switch her food again.  After reading much information on your site I would like to put her on Wellness Core – Ocean, start her NuVet Plus, and maybe do the Flora Force for awhile.  I would love to hear your thoughts on all this; for my main goal is to have a happy and healthy bully baby and to try to prevent any illnesses and allergies from popping up, but I’m not sure if I should start all this so soon after switching her over the first time.  All this has just taken place over this month, started at the beginning of October.
