Question
My Olde English Bull Dogge just had a big litter of 11 two didn't make it so there is nine pups and they were born on November 2, 2010 . Harmony the mother doesn't really want to feed them any more. If she does it's for like 2 -3 minutes at a time , but she does clean up after them they do go to the bathroom on paper and she will clean it up . My question is do I need to start giving them puppy food ?
Or do I Waite ?  Also what kind of food would I give them ? I know their teeth are soft still most of them have their teeth through the gums now and all their eyes have been open for a week and a half.

Here is some puppy Formula recipe - you will need to add this to the puppy Mush food - SEE below - this can be started today:

Formula for pups:

Make your own puppy formula by mixing a 13-oz. can of evaporated milk, 13 oz. of water, 4 oz. of plain yogurt, 4 egg yolks and 1 tbsp. of NuVET Plus vitamin Powder)

Water is very important, especially with formula that includes yogurt and canned milk.



After about 4 weeks go with this : PUPPY MUSH
START this today:


Puppy Mush -
 
1/2 cup of Dry Kibble and 1/4 cup of the WET canned food - add some formula ( puppy formula )- 1/8 cup or less:
ALLOW the Dry kibble to sit in the Formula for at least 30 minutes - It should get very soft and mushy.

Offer this mix 4 x per day for at least 2 months.

**( Your vet will help you decide what and how much to feed as they get older)
SEE the VET for the First puppy shots, soon.

PLEASE add this great pup vitamin powder to one or two of the meals...
