Question
Recently(about 3 weeks) he has not been "releasing" all of his
bowel movements.  When he comes in from the outdoors he will usually have a piece in varying lengths hanging from his butt.
Is this an internal problem?

Answer
Hi Barry,  Well, he may need more fiber?  Also, you may want to have your vet check his stool for worms or other parasites.  For more fiber - you can offer some Kellogs All Bran Cereal - Just a few teaspoons per day mixed into his food.  It will help him to empty out the anal sac a each bowel movement.
Also, don't forget the NuVET Plus - Helps with digestion...
