Question
Our 16 week old american bulldog puppy has torn his acl.  Our vet says she will get back to us in a few days after she talks to some specialists. she said to put him on strict rest and gave us antinflammatory deramaxx 25mg (once a day) and pain med tramadol 50mg every 8 to 10 hours.  Have you encountered this issue before and if so what did they do???

Hi April and family -  Always get a second opinion before any surgery.  Also, give it a good rest period before you consider surgery.  I am sure the Vet will want to do surgery ....MOST of them do!
