Question
My English Bulldog is 10 years old and I'm her 3rd home.  I've had her for 2 1/2 years and she's cost me a FORTUNE in caring for her issues, although luckily she does not have any diseases or illnesses, and she's been worth every penny!  Lately I've noticed she's been more clumsy on her feet, seems stiff, limps a little and stumbles on occasion.  Once she gets her bearings though, she seems fine.  Also, she pooped in the house one day while I was at work, yet she makes it through the night just fine.  She's currently on Clavamox for a bladder infection, and Cosequin to help with the 'integrity' of her bladder.  Are these things signs of her old age progressing?  I know the life span of an English Bulldog is right around 10, so whatever I get from her now is a gift.

Hi Becky, Yes, you are seeing some of the aging signs in a bulldog.  I would continue with all you have been doing but add a few supplements.

1.  add 500 mg of Ester C per day - hide in some WET dog food.
(ESTER C is at Walgreens or CVS)  - very safe for dogs.
Give 1 per day long term

( I think the one accident she had in the house may have been to pressure on the bladder or the antibiotics)
