QUESTION: Hi Maria,
We just got our male English bulldog puppy. I want to make sure I start him off with the best nutrition to avoid any problems. He is is on Royal Canin and I am going to slowly wean him to Wellness puppy. I also am going to give him a half or should it be a whole nuvet supplement. I wanted to know if their is anything else I need to add, anything to prevent yeast problems??

Sorry for the delay in answering you as I was sick with the stomach flu.
Wellness Puppy will be a great choice to slowly switch over.
He can have a full NuVET wafer at this stage.  Once he is over 40 pounds, then give him 1 1/2 per day.
You can give him 3 oz cup of Activia yogurt ( Van or Plain) every other day to prevent excessive yeast bacteria build up in wrinkles.
Bullies are prone to nose and wrinkle yeast.

QUESTION: I also wanted to add that when I go to feed him, he goes crazy and inhales the food. I try to put a little bit in the bowl at a time and that doesn't help. He acts like he is starving to death, he is knocking the bowl over and spilling it all over the place because he is so out of control. What do I do???

ok - this will sound odd, but it works!
Get a good sized dog bowl -- much bigger than what he needs.
Go outside and get 2 to 3 big Rocks --- As big as your hand...
Place the 2 rocks in the bowl and then put the food around the rocks.  This will slow him down when eating AROUND the rocks.

It works... - try it.
