Question
Bear is our 3 y.o. English bulldog. We feed him Nutro Natural and have since a pup.Healthy except for being post bilat knee surgeries-healed well. Recently, noticed a pimple/wart-like growth in his whisker area. Size of a pencil eraser, pinkish hue, doesn't appear to be causing any discomfort. Any ideas?

Hi Dianne,  Well, it can be canine herpes virus.  This may go away after a few months. ( it runs it's course)
 If not, the vet can remove the little growth.

I would place some Silver on the area.... Silver Shield is sold by Natures Sunshine and they have a nice gel.
You can call around to your local vitamin/health stores and see if they carry the Nature's Sunshine brand.

Also, Most of my bullie clients take 1 NuVET supplement wafer per day - Helps with building the immune system and heals the skin.
If it is the herpes virus this is related to a weaker immune system.

Oh, and ESTER C ( 1 ) of a 1000 mg per day tablet will help.
Ester C is found at any Vitamin store...
