Hi Marie,
I have a neutered Shar-pei male almost three years old and he is very sweet have only seen him have a problem with a male boxer next door. I was trying to decide whether to get a male or female bulldog puppy. I didn't think it would matter if the puppy grew up with our male. What do you think? and which gender do you prefer? They would be fixed no matter what gender.

Hi Cindy,  I like to have 1 male and 1 female... ( spayed and neutered);
You can also have 2 males if they are introduced slowly.  ( and neutered)

Sorry, not too much experience with the 2 genders...
