Question
I have an active 2 year old male french bulldog.  He has a fairly large sacral dimple that he's had since birth, it hasn't caused any problems so far.  Have you heard of this on dogs, especially bulldogs?  Do you know of any problems that this may cause as he gets older?  Thanks so much for your help!

Hi Brit, This dimple you mentioned is called a pilonidal dimple ... Most of time time is will not be a problem at all.  Sometimes the area can become infected and need drainage.  
I have one myself.  Humans are born with them too.  A long life can be lived without effects at all from this dimpled area.  

So, don't worry.......
