Question
My 1 yr old male bulldog has developed black markings on either side of him. We noticed them after we removed his harness, about 2 weeks ago. There is no scratching, a tiny amount of hair loss and they do not seem to bother him, they just look awful. We are feeding him Royal Canin. He is otherwise healthy and happy. Thank you.

Hi Donna, It's a good idea to take the harness off and let the area air out.  It may be excessive yeast bacteria from the harness pressing on his skin.

I would buy a new harness that has more natural fibers, if possible.
( YOU may need to order one from the internet)
