Hello I have a 4 year old English female bulldog who is pregnant. She has always licked her paws to the point where I have to stop her from doing it. Another problem is that she has skin irritation patches and eventually turn into flakes. I have changed her shampoo to a allergens free shampoo and she is on dry dog food "Royal Canine-Breed Health Nutrition." I don't know what else to do please help my baby.

Hi Christina and English Bulldog girl......  Yes, I would be glad to help.

The Royal Canine has too many fillers in the ingredients -  Slowly change her over to Innova Evo; Wellness Core, or Merrick Grain Free-  MAKE this is a very SLOW transition because she is pregnant.  I would do a mix of your food ( Royal C) and the New grain-free food 50:50 mix for at least 3 weeks.  After 3 plus weeks, then she can go onto the NEW grain-free food 100%.

The licking of the paws and skin irritations may be related to environmental allergies.  If my suggestions don't help, please talk to your Vet.  For now you need to go all NATURAL .
