Question
Hi I have a 13 year old English Bulldog, she has been healthy all this time. The only thing different that has happened is I watched a friends Guineu pig for one month, since I had this guineu pig in my home i noticed my dog has been struggling with her breathing. Is it possible she could be allergic? the guinue pig has hay in the cage as well. I'm wondering if my dog is allergic to the hay or the guineu pig itself? please help me, I'm so worried for my dog, she  never (knock on wood) had health problems. She is very fit, great diet, very happy dog. Until now, i can tell her breathing has changed.

Hi Lisa,  Yes, I bet the hay/bedding is a problem..  I know it was for me in the past.
I have asthma and certain bedding chips did bother my condition.
I bet it's not the pigger just the bedding.
