Question
We just purchased a 9 week old English bulldog.Her name is Dixie. The 3rd day we had her, her nose starting running really bad. The discharge is a bright green. We took her to the vet and he wasn't sure what it is. He put her on antibiotics. Now she has developed a hacking cough almost like she is trying to clear her throat. Should I take her back to the vet? Is there anything else I can do?

Hi Matthew, First off, please call the place you purchased your bulldog from and alert them to this problem ?  Possible Kennel cough or even Resp/Nasal infection. ( GREEN secretions often mean infection)
Next, Back to the VET to check lungs and make sure there is no fluid ( Pneumonia)....This can happen very quick in English bulldogs.

Please give me a call tomorrow if you need more help.  MUST see the VET again, tomorrow...
