Question
How can you get from Bamako to Ouaga? (easily)

Answer
I have made this trip twice, but it was a number of years ago. The easiest way is to fly. If you search international travel sites I am sure you will find several flights a week between Ouaga and Bamako. I traveled by the Trans African bus, and since that time I know bus service has improved greatly in Burkina Faso. I am sure this would be a possibility. The most common method for travel in West Africa is by truck or car rapide. Commercila trucks will often take passengers, and may let you ride in front. There are also vans that carry passengers- sort of bush taxi. Both of these last two options can be unpredicatable and uncomfortable. If you want to try them go to the auto gare in Ouaga, near the train station and ask around. Hope this helps and you enjoy travelling in Burkina. Also, if it still runs, the train from Bamako to Dakar is a worthwile trip.
