Hello John,

I'm a Canadian woman (26) very interested in volunteering in Brukina Faso for about a year.  Do you have any information about reputable NGO's or groups there that I could get in contact with?

I'd be most interested in working either at a school or an orphanage (I want to work with children).

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice that you may have.

Hi Jenny, I have not kept up with the NGOs working in Burkina Faso. The last time I was there Save the Children had a fairly large presence; however, I don't know how they handle volunteers. Sorry i can't be of more help, but if you do find a good opportunty in Burkina you are in for an interesting experience, among some of the best people in the world.
