Expert: David Beckett - 10/17/2009

Question
what is recommended to see or do between Oct 19th and oct. 22nd, 2009 in burlington, vt.

Answer
Hello Ethyl -

Have a look at http://www.7dvt.com/local-guides
This weekly has the best callendar section around, as well as an excellent dining guide.

For both dining AND entertainment you can't go wrong starting on Church Street/The Church Street Marketplace. There's a great movie theatre, and many inexpensive places to eat within a few blocks. You'll find dozens of good places to eat, and lots to do in the general area of. Walk down College Street and stroll around Waterfront Park, the boardwalk and the whole rest of the lakefront area and I think you'll have a great time.

You'll want to check www.flynncenter.org and perhaps www.highergroundmusic.com (for starters) before coming, too.

Almost all of these suggestions (above) can be done most easily on foot. If you're interested in exploring the area by car - please let me know. I'd be happy to suggest some very pretty drives.

If you have more specific questions or interests, please don't hesitate to let me know - I'd be happy to make more specific recommendations.

Cheers,
David
