We are relocation to BURLINGTON , from South AFRICA , we a looking for a affordable place to stay ( i.e. self catering hotel, lodge or bed and breakfeast ) for a week or two till we fine a place to stay. I am a pharmacist coming to work for Rite Aid PHARMACIES.

There are a variety of places which would suit you. Here are a few:

The Holiday Inn Express, The Comfort Suites and Smart Suites are all in a group, off Shelburne Road, which is also called Route 7. I'd just try one of those as they are reasonably priced and proximate to the places you'd want to go, like Downtown Burlington. Downtown Burlington has a pedestrian main street (absolutely full of restaurants and shops) and is a short walk to the gorgeous lakefront and Waterfront Park. I'd suggest you dine one night at Splash-at-the-boathouse and enjoy a sunset on Lake Champlain. It's a really gorgeous spot right ON the lake.
