Burlington, Vermont/Housing for a friend

Question
My friend recently was kicked out of her living situation, and you can only sleep on your friend's couch for so long. With the Holiday season upon us, she has nothing saved for a deposit for an apartment at this point in time.  I have tried searching online for temp housing, efficiencies, and the like, but find nothing helpful.  I'm hoping you can be!

Answer
Jamie -

Please forgive the delay...it's been a much busier than usual month, and I've just finished assisting some buyers from out of town this weekend...I'm just catching up with e-mail today...

I checked with my property manager friends this morning, and they weren't able to come up with any sublets etc at the moment. I'm afraid I've come up empty handed in light of the fact that your friend hasn't the money for a deposit, which owners typically require. I'd thought a temporary sublet/housesitting arrangement would fit the bill, but as I said, I've had no luck. These situations tend to be taken quickly through word of mouth...

Best of luck!
