Hello David:

My husband and I are relocating to Burlington, VT in the next month or so and we have yet to find the house of our dreams.  I was wondering if you could recommend some short-term/furnished lodging places?  We will need it for about a month, maybe longer and we'd like to find a place that is pet friendly as well.  Do you know of any places like this?  Sincerely,

Hi Shelly -

I'm a Realtor as you know. As luck would have it, one of my sellers has a place in a terrific location that she'd make available for 30 days or perhaps more. It's pet friendly and ideally situated for walking to the lake, The Church Street Marketplace, bikepaths and so on. The only drawback is that it's not furnished. The other ideas are places like
The Marriot Residence Inn at 1 802 878 2001

They'd be a great deal more expensive, and less well located (from my point of view) but you'd have the amenities provided by places of this kind...
