Thanks very much for the info.  However, I can't seem to get on that web site.  When I enter the entire string (www........html) it says "server not found" and if I enter only a portion, I do get  the site but it requires an ID and password.  Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?

I am an American citizen with duel citizenship (Canadian) currently living in Toronto, Ontario Canada.  While Toronto is a great city, I'm tired of big city life and am looking to start my own business in a smaller town in New England.  Having visited Burlington a few times, it looks perfect (I also have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a 10 month old).
What I was wondering is what can one expect with regards to real estate prices.  Ideally, I would like to own a piece of property at least 10 acres in size, within a short drive to downtown Burlington (say 10-15 minutes), and if possible, some kind of view of Lake Champlain.  Would it be possible to get an idea of what something like that would cost, or is there a web site I should look at?

Hi Drew,

I love the Burlington area. It's so well located, and offers astonishing performing arts, outdoor recreation and beauty. I can drive to Montreal in well under 2 hours going the scenic back way, through The Champlain Islands.

I love living in downtown Burlington and being able to walk my dogs to the Lake, and the dog parks etc. I can walk to the library, the movies and the shops on Church Street, as well as to hardware stores etc etc etc on Pine Street.  

Wanting to be out a bit in the country, with some acreage, you'll have the best of both worlds - easy access to town and some room to roam! You'll laugh at what we here refer to as "traffic".

Here's what's on the market right now for properties in Chittenden County with greater than 10 acres. This is everything, regardless of the company that has it listed for sale. You'll see a great deal of data as well as whatever photos are available, for each of these properties. As you can see, prices range widely!

I just performed another search, came up with a slightly smaller group of properties - omitting some of the ones a bit farther away from Burlington this time.

I send these links a lot, and they work well.
But there are a lot of factors, a lot of variables, on the 'Net...
Typically I'm sending directly to somebodies email address, rather than to a web site which somebody uses. That mght be it - but I just clicked the original link as it came back to me in your second message here... and it worked like a charm: data and half a dozen+ photos of 50+ houses...

Once I get criteria settled, I can follow up with daily emails if you should ever want me to - You'd get every NEW listing, consolidated into a single daily email, regardless of what company listed the property...

I'd be very interested in knowing which of these links works! The MLS program, by the way, is written for MS ie 6. I have to use MS ie 6 to create these links, and use the MLS program in other ways - but I've not run into anybody who couldn't use the links with some tinkering...Mac users, people running an alternative browser, etc...
