Expert: David Beckett - 7/19/2007

Hi David,

I'm originally from Montreal, grew up in Ft. Lauderdale and currently living in Atlanta. I have lots of family in Montreal and my parents in Burlington. So I'm totally won over already, although I know winter will be a challenge for me. We just had a baby and the idea of raising her in Atlanta is scary. So, we now have the motivation to move. I work in Information Technology, currently at Turner Broadcasting as a Sr. Project Manager. Can you suggest some great places to start hunting for a comparable job in Burlington? We're trying to figure out if we should sell our house in Atlanta first or find a job first - but that's a whole other issue! I would love to work for Seventh Generation or another company where I could make a difference (other than just providing news 24 hours a day ;)).

Hi Joanne -
I just spent 10 days in Montreal covering the Montreal Jazz Festival for the radio station at which I serve as Jazz Director. I'd love to have family in Montreal so I'd get to spend even more time there!
