My wife and I are planning to move to the Burlington area in the next 1-2
years.
We are somewhat familiar with the area. We are thinking of looking at a
smaller size single family home (maybe a condo) but are not sure of what
areas to
focus our search on. We would prefer an easy commute to Burlington and
also
like to ski. Thanks for any help you can give us.

Hi John -

You're a lot like me: Burlington and an easy drive to skiing are both important. I live in Burlington now, and I can get to Sugarbush in an hour, Stowe in very little more (... possible extra traffic on the Mountain Road) and Bolton Valley in about 40 minutes.

Colchester, Winooski, Williston, and Richmond all have I89 access - then you'd get off at Waterbury to get to Sugarbush and Stowe. Bolton's exit takes you through Richmond...
