Answer It is widely believed to be a love song that Gavin wrote about his girlfriend (much like Gylcerine.) In my opinion, though, no Bush fan has ever been able to back that up with an interview quote or reference, and it is only a guess.
I honestly believe it is just a surreal song written like a poem. Gavin is a huge Ginsberg fan and writes many of his songs like Ginsberg's poems. Thus, it has no direct meaning.
