Question
I would like to know if you knew the setup for the song comedown and how it is played especially on the solo. also, if you know the effects used on glycerine that would be cool too. thanks

Answer
Good Morning,

Sorry it took two days to get back to you.  To answer your question about Comedown, there are some very good tabs available online - www.deconstructed.org (my website) has tabs for Comedown.  The solos on the tabs are decent, and they will get you where you want to be (close sounding but not exact.)  There is also a songbook put out for Sixteen Stone that, in my opinion, has a better tabbed solo.

Glycerine, in the interviews I have read, was not an effect driven song.  Just take a fender strat (if you have one) and add a tiny bit of reverb - lots of gain but little volume.  It should match pretty close.

When I saw Gavin do it live, he didn't mess with any pedals then either.

Hope that helps!
