Hi again!Well here it goes...This will be a list of the equipment they use,not of everything they have(because Gavin as a lot of collection guitars and other stuff to "play" with ,but he doesn´t uses them for anything else,for example).
 Well,let´s go to Gavin first!You can add to the list I already gave you:
  Guitars-various old maple strats,Les Paul Jr.,'66 white jazzmaster
  Amps-Bob Bradshaw,Fender Bassman,Kustom
  Effects-Morley,SIB valve overdrive
  Picks-Pickboy Soft
  Strings-Ernie Ball .10 to .46
 For the live set-up he as a Bob Bradshaw rig,switching between a basement Bob Bradshaw 100 watt head and a Fender Tremolux.There´s about five or six pedals that he uses,basically Electro-Harmonix stuff.And then he uses a maple strat with humbuckers.
 In the studio he uses: his Gibson 330 and his '57 Les Paul Gold Top; a custom amp; he´s never satisfied with the pedals so he keeps changing them,often just using the amp settings.He used (on this last album) the Veridrive pedal a lot,and also a little Hendrix pedal,a Big Muff,a little Boss flanger and the Electric Mistress,being the last two his favourites,"but you can´t use them too much or it sounds really overdone".
 He always writes with drums and electric guitar.For programming "funky weird beats" he likes the Line 6 stuff,the Amp Farm (as got one in his bedroom) and the Pod because he finds the pedal really good.Well,"that stuff is a lot of fun,but when I´m writting I just need rythm,my guitar,pen,paper and a small walkman and I´m fine!" By the way, he uses fountain pens!
 
 Switching to Nigel now...
 When it comes to guitars he uses the following: T.V. yellow '58 Les Paul Jr.,blue hand painted '89 Strat Plus Deluxe,Gibson ES-345,fifties Martin D-28,a strat that Gavin´s guitar tech (named Cozy) made for him out of parts,various Fender stratocasters,'57 strat,'cherry '59 Gibson,few jazz guitars,old Martin,early 60's Guild,Gibson Les Paul,Gibson Les Paul Jr.,Fender Standard Strat,Fender Custom Strat with maple body and neck and Seymour Duncan pickups.On his solo album he used a 60's Gretsch Monkees,a Gibson J60 and a Paul Reed Smith.Long list,isn´t it?
 He uses Ernie Ball strings,.10 to .46,.11´s for detuned tracks.
 Regarding amps,a variety Fender and Mesa Boogie amps are connected in paralel via a one-in/four-out signal splitter.The amps in his rig are:Mesa Trem-o-Verb,Sixties Fender Tremolux stack with original 2x12 cabinet,Fender Deluxe and Champ combos;With the exception of the Tremolux,which runs through it´s own cabinet and back through the Boogie rig,all speakers in the Fenders are disconnected,and have a passive 200 watt,20 ohm load resistors on each amp;Tweed Deluxe,Tremolux,Bob Bradshaw custom,more Mesa/Boogie,Tonemasters,old Marshall that was "knackerd,but in a perfectly shot sort of way",vintage Guild.Then a signal is run from each amp´s power amp output back into a Mesa 2.90 power amp,and the signal comes out in stereo.On the solo album used Mesa/Boogie TriAxis.
 Talking now of effects,he as:Full tone '69,Prescription Experience and Prescription Yardbox,Bixonic Expandora,Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion,Boss PS-3 pitch shifter/delay,Mu-Tron octave divider,Mu-Tron flanger,Mu-Tron phaser,Boss-DD-3 delay,Maestro Echoplex delay,t.c. electronics delay,Custom Audio Electronics Super Tremolo,a vintage DeArmond Tremolo from the forties,Morley wah,Ernie Ball passive volume pedal,Filter/Sample&Hold Maestro from the 70's,Fox Guitar Synth,Electro-Harmonix Hotfoot,WD orange squeezer compressor and ,last but not least, Ibanez Auto-filter.All of these effects are governed by a Custom Audio Electronics Audio Controller,which has been preprogrammed to provide acess to the various amps and pedals used for each song.
