ANSWER: Hello Jane,

Yes Kate Bush still works with Del Palmer, who was engineer again for her latest Aerial. I'm not sure if he also played bass on that one.

They used to be an item but they broke up in the early 1990s. She's been with guitarist Danny McIntosh (also the father of her son Bertie) since then. McIntosh is the main guitarist on Aerial.

QUESTION: Who IS Del Palmer?  I'm sure I've heard the name before, not just assosiated with Ms Kate Bush!!  Must be strange working with your ex, especially after having SUCH a long relationship with him. How and Why did they break up? Is that the reason,o'r'inspiration'? as to why she wrote another album?

Hi!

Well he is a bass player, originally, and later became an engineer as well. He dated Kate since they were both in their teens and he was part of the line-up of the original KT Bush Band, which was the first band Kate sang in.
