I have anti-download software on my PC, and I don't have access to anywhere that sells bootlegs. How would I obtain copies of the pre-Kick Inside demo's?

Several people have copies of the best available versions of the demos, better than any bootleg (in fact it has been reported that the demo MP3s online are better than most bootlegs, even though they were converted to MP3)!
So subscribing and posting to one of the discussion groups, someone will probably agree to copy theirs, if you send them CDRs and a self addressed (and stamped) envelope.

One of the most popular discussion groups I know of is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Kate_Bush/ if you sign up to yahoo (if not already) you can post to ask if you send CDRs and an SAE would someone burn you the demos, and return them.
It's possible someone may even be in your area, and you can just agree to meet somewhere. So don't forget to say where in the world (eg city) that you live, too.
