I have the demo CD`s, and read about additional demos a while back in the Lovehounds newsletter.  I recently downloaded "You Were the Star," "Atlantis," "Sunsi," "The Magician of Lublin," "Cussi Cussi," and "Maybe," along with "Organic Acid," which wasn`t on any of the CD`s that I had.  Do the Lovehounds know about these songs` availability?  I don`t see a reference in Gaffaweb---is it being updated?  I sent an e-mail about this to IED, and he did not respond.  I hope that he is O.K. and still out there.  Finally, and news on Kate herself.  The mailing list seems very juvenile, I am sorry to say, and I don`t have the patience to keep up, but I still love Kate.

If you check http://www.gaffa.org/ and look under the "Phoenix" summary, they should be talked about.

These "early years" demos, are believed to be part of an earlier set of demos send to record companies, and was going to be released by a German company as a 10 track LP, but something stopped this from happening, and all the pre-release vinyl copies were reportedly destroyed. BUT... it seems someone recorded it to tape, or saved one copy.
