Bush, Kate/Early Influences

Question
I heard Kate on a Radio 1 programme in the early 80's where she was discussing music that had had an influence on her. She played a song called O Willow Waly which I recognised as a song my Uncle had and which I had listened to in my childhood. I've tried to track this song down but don't know the artist. It's not the version by the kingston Trio. Any ideas? Thanks.

Answer
Hello,

Well to be honest I haven't heard that programme so I can't be sure, but during a web search I found this:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055018/soundtrack

The movie The Innocents inspired Kate to write the song Infant's Kiss, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was this song.

Good luck with your search!

Kind regards,

Birgitte
