Hi, I was just curious what Kate is up to these days. I hear differing things regarding a new album and a potential tour but i reckon a lot of it is just hearsay.

Loads of other questions too, is she married, single? Didn't she ever want kids? Does she have a religion? Somke?...lol I could go on.

Finally is there a biography/autobiography about Kate?

Well the latest official news is that Kate's busy recording a new album. There's no release date set, yet so it's unknown how long it will take. You can catch up with the latest news on Kate here:

Regarding the tour story you've heard: forget it. Kate has only done one tour in '79 (The Tour Of Life) and has never toured since. I sincerely doubt she will ever tour again. But you never know for sure of course.

Kate is not married, but guitarist Danny McIntosh (who played on The Red Shoes) is her long-time boyfriend. They have a child together named Bertie. So yes, I guess you can say she wanted children LOL

She used to smoke but quit a while ago (probably before she got pregnant, but I'm not sure). I don't know about her religion. I think officially she's a Christian but her interests are quite diverse and I have no idea whether she's heavy into religion (going to church etc.). She's a homey person and I haven't read much about her religious beliefs.

There are some biographies out there, but these were all written at the end of the 70s and early 80s, so it's very outdated. Kate has toyed with the idea of writing an autobiography "Leaving My Tracks", but this has been shelved.

A guy named Fred Vermorel has also wrote two biographies, (Kate Bush: Princess of Suburbia and The Secret History of Kate Bush). These books aren't really worth the title "biography" as they contain more speculations of the author than actual facts. This man got so obsessed by Kate he even stalked her.
