Hi Lee. I was intrigued to know if you had any idea what the song `experiment IV` is about. Its lyrics are strangely compelling but also very sinister. Any ideas? Thankyou

Hello Jason and thank you for the question.Yes,this song is food for thought and the video is also kind of spooky.The song is basically about a mad scientist type whose underlings are not really aware of the experiment's intention,which is to use sound as a weapon against one's enemies.Not such a far-fetched idea,I wouldn't be surprised if some governments have looked into developing sonic weapons.Kate was fascinated by the concept of sound,which can be so beautiful,being used to kill people.For more on Kate's words about this or any of her songs,check out the website "Cloudbusting:Kate Bush in her own words" and click on Kate talks about her music.Thanks again and I hope I've helped.
