Question
Hi Bryan,
About ten years ago you managed to send me a Katetopia videocasette. You met a colleague of mine near the airport of Minneapolis and handed him the tape. He was flaying to The Netherlands.
I found that tape in my old collection and have converted it to DVD, but the quality is very poor as the tape has degraded over the years.
Is this initiative still alive ? Is there a homepage or any other way new material ?
Regards,

Answer
There has been an effort to put it onto DVD, and I hear it's very good, but there was a breakdown in who was chosen to do the copying and apparently many people lost their money when somebody ran off with the cash (and didn't copy the DVDs)!

The person who did the DVD is Douglas Alan, I have his email as nessus (at) mit (dot) edu, but that's a year ago, so you might want to sign up to the Love Hounds discussion group.
He is still an active poster there, so go to http://www.gaffa.org on how to sign up (see FAQ 3.2 = "topics outside" -> "lovehounds/rec.music.gaffa" -> "what is lovehounds"). Watch a few posts for a while, and ask.
