Question
Is there a Kate Bush song with the lyric "in the basement"?

Answer
Hello Darius and thank you for your question. The song you are thinking of is "Coffee Homeground"from Kate's second album "Lionheart"(1978).
The opening line is;"Down in the cellar, you're getting into making poison".The song takes a humourous look ar paranoia and is about someone who is always thinking that people will try to poison them in their tea or food.It is done in an old-time German vibe with Kate singing in a German accent which adds to the humourous feel.
It is quite an entertaining song and definitely her most humourous.I hope this answers your question and thanks again,it is always my pleasure to help other Kate Bush fans get more out of their enjoyment of her music. And shold you ever have other questions about Kate or her music please don't hesitate.Have a great day!!
