i was wondering what her songs mean to her fans and what she portrays in her songs

    Hello Tania and thank you for your question.I think Kate's songs mean different things to different people.It's all in how they are interpreted.Kate herself says her songs are often misinterpreted by her fans.
    To me,her songs are about real things.Not necesarrily things that have happened to her or to do with her personally.But I think a lot of her songs are about love and relationships in general.
    I recommend that you visit the website "CLOUDBUSTING" which has a lot of info about Kate's songs in her own words.I have used this site extensively and it has a wealth of information.If you select the part where she talks about her music, it is broken down album by album and song by song.Some of the song meanings will really surprise you.
