Question
Hi,
Just noticed a new (to me) title: Live And Fruity.  The Ultimate Collection.
It's available on e-bay.  Do you know anything
about the quality of this recording or an thing
else that will help me decide if it's worth
bidding on?
thanks,
Dave

Answer
Dave, I bought Live and Fruity so know a bit about it, in fact I'm playing it now. It's a cdr though nicely packaged, but rare is a doubtful description. The quality is variable but quite good overall. The radio piece about the Tokyo Song Festival has a slight buzz for example but is quite listenable, and quite interesting. The Comfortably Numb recording is obviously an audience recording. Some of the older live recordings have a slight background hiss if you listen for it up close to your speakers but the sound is pretty good nevertheless, Let It Be is the worst for sound quality. The Fruitopia pieces are studio quality. The two remixes I could live without. Overall I'm glad I got it though I suspect it's overpriced, I wouldn't bid more than the starting price but that's up to you. There are 2 selling now and 8 have closed in the last fortnight. Hope this helps.
Cheers John
