If you didn't receive the answer to your previous question: Unfortunately I have never heard of that story so I can't help you with it. What I do know is this:

Before Kate started dating Del Palmer (who often plays bass on her albums and has been her engineer - they've been together for 18 years) she had one boyfriend: Al Buckle. I believe he attended the same high school as Kate.

If it wasn't Al Buckle you were referring to, then I have no idea who it would be...
