Question I am a real estate sale person and sponsored by a broker(one owner)company. After several transactions, he cut my commissions and even did not pay the last transaction before I left. A suit was processed and I got a court judgement. However, that company has dissolved without notice. How could I enforce that judgement?
Answer Richard:
Thank you for your inquiry. It is a regrettable situation that you have addressed and as I don't have the benefit of all the details, it would appear that nothing more can be done to address the enforcement of your case. A company closure would have eliminated or disbursed any remaining assets, unless someone personally guaranteed a note to you. You might call your States Attorney General office or contact a collection attorney in your area to fully review the details of your case. They may have further advise for which you can pursue collections. I wish you the best in your efforts.
