Question i have a few if thats ok? first can you dissolve a s corp while still owing debt? and then just in general i'm trying to figure out what best to do. file bankruptcy/sell/dissolve or restructure. i have about 300,000.00 of unsecured debt and 300,000.00 of secured and still have a good business but made a few mistakes last year and can't catch up. what to do?
Answer That depends on the type of debt, I would check with an attorney and bring all the documentation to support the debts including any contracts or agreements you signed when you incurred the debt. Secured debt is a little tricky. If you can't catch up but are still in business, contact the people you owe the money to and set up a payment plan.
