Question MCM has contacted me regarding a debt that they have purchased from AT&T about my father Jerry Fortune. I have received at least 10 phone calls from them. I have repeatidly told the representative that I am not Jerry Fortune, but his son Jason. The representative has given me personal information regarding this debt. I have asked that they not contact me and to stop calling my phone number and was told that they will continue to call as long as the debt is owed. I want to know if they can do this and how to stop them from doing this (short of changing my phone number). Thank you for your concideration in this matter.

You can also get an attorney that specializes in FDCPA violations and talk to them, they will be able to help you with this situation.
