Dear Michelle,

First of all G-d bless you for all your invaluable time, knowledge and advice. Simple questions I was one of 3 members of a Florida LLC which has been defunct for 8 months and is being dissolved. There is a NON guaranteed debt with Fedex for approx $165! Can fedex and or their collection agency call me at my home personally when 1) the debt was never personally guaranteed by any of the partners and 2) even if the debt is valid the limited liablity should prevent them from contacting me personally at home????

Paul,
When you say non-guaranteed, do you mean unauthorized bill? Did anyone set up an account with Fed Ex and order services? If so, who was it? Is the reason this is not being paid because it was never ordered or is is disputed? Depending on the contract, or agreements as well as how your company was set up will determine if they can do this.
Look at the companies paperwork or bring it to an attorney if you have questions.
