Question
i am working in collection agency for resurgent capital services ........ and i am findin.so, diffculty in getting
the payments from consumer....and when i state USA state laws to the consumer before i ask for the payment theu hung-up on me..........i dnt it could be my voice problem.....or could be possibility, that customer doesnt have intention to pay.......and more over want to improve my skills as well....as to handle the consumer....who is not listening?,who does nt want ot make paymeny?(but they have the money)sometimes has to happen if i got to confirm the last name they hung-up on me....how to handle such consumer who is in processing for bankruptcy? plzzzzzz response asap......then i will more to ask u......? hope you response me back asap...........

If a consumer is filing bankruptcy, ask them for the lawyers name and phone number and contact the lawyer, you can also get the case number and then just wait for the courthouse to send you the bankruptcy paperwork. You cannot continue to try and collect in this instance.
