Question Hello Michelle,
I have been doing collections for over 15 years...and now I am branching out and starting my own collection agency!
Yippee!
I was wondering if there is anyone that you can put me in contact with that wouldn't mind giving me some helpful advise on making my collection agency prosperous! I'm located in Canton, Ohio but don't mind talking to someone outside my area!
Thanks so much!!!
Mel
Answer Mel,
Are you looking for a mentor or for some consulting? Also, I wanted to let you know about some websites with resources that will help you while you start your agency.
I also have a book called Starting a Collection Agency, How to make money collecting money that you can purchase on my website or through Amazon.com: http://www.michelledunn.com/book_sca2nd.html or
There is a chapter titled, “Can I make any money doing this?” because so many people ask me this question, and the answer is yes. The amount depends of course on how much you put into it.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions. I started an agency from home and ran it successfully for 8 years and would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
