Question what kind of permit do i need to start my own collections business in upstate ny and when i do start how do i go about reporting to the credit bureau

If you are a member of ACA or have my book "Starting a Collection Agency" the requirements and contact information to get those requirements filled are in a chapter dedicated to that and listed by each state you would like to collect in.
Once your agency is up and running you can apply to any of the 3 credit bureaus to become a member and then can choose to pull credit reports or report debts to the credit bureaus. You do have to wait until your agency is established.
