Question
i have a degree in Mathematics and Statistics, i can't decide the best way to become a CPA. Should i go for a masters in accounting or just take required courses in accounting and other areas, for CPA eligibility and then take the CPA exam?
Would i be able to get a job as a CPA without an accounting degree and with no previous work experience whatsoever?

Answer
Yes you would be able to find jobs with CPA, and not an advanced degree in accounting. You might try out http://www.mrinetworks.com --this is a site that has 3 million salaried jobs all over the world. We have 1500 offices in 35 countries. We get a broad view of the job market. Choose a location, and then look over the job requirements. You will find CPA, and big 4 experience is in most of the upper management jobs listed, and some with MBA.
