Question
QUESTION: I bought an Autoresponder a little while ago, the type that runs on your own  worktop.Since then I had to get a web host with cPanel to host the A/R,this I have. My problem is I can-not set it up, no matter how many times I look at it. I need some one to set this up for me, can you recommend someone to do this fo me.

Thank you for your time........Regards DEREK.

ANSWER: Have you contacted the vendor for help? Have you checked with your e-mail service. They may provide such a service.

What are you using the A/R for?

Hope this helps

QUESTION: Believe me Scott, I have tried every body. I want to use the A/R to send out emails to my data base in the hope of getting sales from the product that I wish to promote.

Thanks Derek.

Answer
Um that's not what an A/R is. An A/R resonds to received e-mails. Sophisticated A/Rs can scan the mails looking for keywords to customize responses. But its basically used to respond.

If you are trying to send out sales letters to an opt-in databases, you don't need anything but an e-mail client that allows distribution lists or mail merges.

Some e-mail providers do have restrictions on the number of mails you can send or the number of recipients. So you may have to shop around for a provider that caters to businesses that use e-mail marketing.

Hope this helps
