Question Scott, are you aware of any shareware to manage an investor base? We have just over 300 investors, and it's getting a little too unwieldy for Excel.
We'd like to track contact info, investment history, documentation history, plus other customizable fields.

Answer I haven't heard (and couldn't find in a brief search) shareware that specialized. There are plenty of contact management apps, some with additional features that might be tweaked to fill your needs.
However, if you have Access with your Office version, you can, fairly easily, build something that will fill your needs.
