Business Software/Calendar Creator Plus

Question
Recently, I bought a new computer and started looking for the floppy disc I had to install into my new computer.  The program is Creative Calendar Plus and it cannot be bought as they went out of business.  Well, I can't find the floppy disc and it is so necessary for me to have this program for my monthly calendar.  All other programs will not let me add the amount of events that I have monthly.  Is there any way I can get this operating program off the old computer by saving it on a disc?  Please let me know.  Thanks

Answer
Who told you that Calendar Creator went out of business? The program is still being sold and updated. I see it on sale regularly at places like CompUSA or office supply stores. There are a few different versions from standard to Business. Its distributed by Broderbund (broderbund.com). Retail prices range from $30-$70. I would suggest getting a newer version since it will work better with your new PC and will have more features.

You can't just copy the program from your old PC. Windows programs need to be installed using the original install disk since it makes changes to your system. The only other possibility would be to try and use the Windows Transistion wizard (if your new PC has XP) to migrate the program over. But that means connecting the two machines. The cost of doing that may be the samoe or more then buying a new version.

Hope this helps,
