Business Software/Database Management

QuestionHi,
This is Sushant Bahadur from Surat, India.
I have a lot of research papers stored in my PC hard disk and I want to organise this database. I want that the database could be sorted on the basis of the title and author of the research paper. Additionally, I would prefer that when I search, only the relevant results should come on the front screen and not all the results(like MS Access, where the the relevant results are simply highlited).Which software could be suitable for this purpose of document database management?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Sushant
AnswerThere are a number of document management programs. One you might consider is Paperport (Scansoft). This program can be used to do full text searches. Both Microsoft and Google have desktop search programs that operate like a search engine for your hard drive.
You could use Microsoft Access for this as well, if you want to build you own. If you need help in building a structure in Access, I'd be happy to offer some advise.
