What is the histoy of Human Resource Software?

Answer
I haven't a clue. HRIS software has probably existed in one form or another almost as long as computers. Its a natural to use computers to keep track of the many things one has to keep track of about employees.

I would suspect that many, early, HRIS apps were home grown. I would suggest, if you need to research this topic, that you do your own research and search on HRIS.
